MONKEYS FACTORY est plus qu'un atelier de tatouage.
Ses 2 fondateurs ont voulu créer un lieu qui leur ressemble.
Un lieu pour découvrir.
Un lieu de partage sans frontière, ouvert sur le Monde,
où l'Art et la Créativité est au centre,
où les valeurs humaines sont essentielles,
où se rencontrent la modernité et les traditions, l'Orient et l'Occident,
où se côtoient la culture hip hop et la culture punk rock, la culture asiatique…
Un lieu d'émulation artistique, d'échange, de partage de savoir et de transmission comme un voyage d'apprentissage, de formation et d'initiation.
Le plus beau voyage c'est celui qu'on fait l'un vers l'autre.

Passionate about sports since childhood, he draws his energy and drive from it in the way he approaches life.
He arrived in France in 1991 and quickly fell into hip hop culture.
He discovered tattooing through friends who were tattoo artists after high school. He experimented with his first tattoos but eventually chose to dedicate his time to sports.
Today, after gaining valuable professional experience, he wants to fulfill his dream: to bring together his influences, his vision, his passions under one brand and in one place, and above all to finally pick up a tattoo machine for good.
That’s how the idea of 'La Fabrique' was born.

Passionné depuis l’enfance par le sport, il en tire sa vitalité et son impulsion dans son rapport à la vie. Il arrive en France en 1992. Il tombe très vite dans la culture hip hop. Le tatouage, il le découvre avec des copains tatoueurs après le lycée. Il s'y essaie sur ses premiers tatouages mais préfèrera consacrer son temps au sport. Aujourd'hui, après de riches expériences professionnelles, il souhaite réaliser son rêve qui était de pouvoir réunir dans un lieu et sous une marque, ses influences, sa vision, ses passions, et surtout de prendre une machine à tatouer en main pour de bon. De là, lui est venue l’idée de la fabrique.

Trained as a computer engineer, she worked in this field for several years but quickly realized it lacked real meaning for her. Convinced her path lay elsewhere, she began traveling alongside her career.
From her travels, she collected scents, sensations, memories, experiences, and desires.
A little over 10 years ago, she started drawing to tell the stories of the men and women she met on the roads of Asia and across the highlands of the Himalayas. Through portraits, she pays tribute to them.
With tattooing, she found a new way to expand her graphic expression and develop her creativity—by designing custom pieces that reflect her clients while adding her own artistic signature.
She also tattoos over scars, helping women in particular reclaim ownership of their bodies.
Her encounter with Vahid allows her to take her art even further.
Ingénieur en informatique de formation, elle exerce ce métier plusieurs années mais très vite elle n'y trouve pas de sens réel. Persuadée que son chemin est ailleurs, elle commence en parallèle à voyager. De ses voyages, elle accumule des odeurs, des sensations, des souvenirs, des expériences et des envies. De là, elle commence le dessin il y a un peu plus de 10 ans pour raconter l'histoire des hommes et des femmes rencontrés sur les routes d'Asie et à travers les hautes terres de l'Himalaya. Elle leur rend hommage à travers des portraits.
Avec le tatouage, elle voit la possibilité d'élargir son expression graphique et de développer sa créativité en créant des motifs qui ressemblent à ses clients tout en y mettant son empreinte graphique.
Elle tatoue également les cicatrices pour aider notamment les femmes à se réapproprier leur corps.
Sa rencontre avec Vahid lui permet d'aller encore plus loin dans son art.

Immersed in hip-hop culture and influenced by 80s and 90s pop culture, GRIPE draws inspiration from his childhood to create vibrant and nostalgic works. His creations feature iconic characters and visual references from that era, which he reinvents with a modern, urban touch. Coming from a graffiti background, he began his career on walls before developing a personal universe, blending street art and collective memory. A self-taught artist, he masters various techniques such as spray paint, acrylics, and markers. He applies his art to canvas, as well as urban surfaces and vintage objects such as road signs and subway maps, paying homage to the street aesthetic and the graffiti movement of the hip-hop era.
